Appearance:
Gary is a tall muscular young man. About 5"6' or 5"7'. His brown shaggy hair is always a mess, but just the right shaggyness so that the girls all drool over him. He's often found wearing jeans, a muscle shirt, and a denim overshirt being the jock he is. If he isn't barefoot he's in his converses. He has bright blue eyes, and a smile that can make any girl go weak at the knees. All in all the perfect Jock.
Personality:
Jock not jerk. A lot of the jock's think they're sooo much better than everyone else, but Gary hates people like that. Just because he's cool and smoothe doesn't mean he's better. He's always willing to help a friend in need, or punch a bully. If some poor defenseless freshmen is getting made fun of by a junior or senior he'll intervene and nobody's about to mess with the leader of the jocks. He can be mean if you tick him off but he's really a nice person inside.
History:
Born into a fairly wealthy family Gary got everything he asked for but he tried not to be too selfish, he would hate to be thought of as spoiled. He was born in colorado but moved to florida when his parents divorced. He lives with his mother and step-father in a much better life than before. His father was abusive and often beat Gary's mother and Gary himself, so he and his mother moved to florida when he graduated middle school. He started as a freshman in florida hoping for a new beginning. His step-father is much nicer and treats his family the way a family should be treated. Nobody other than his best friends and people he really trust know about his past.

Gary finished the chapter of The Golden Compass, the current book he was reading and decided to climb down from the tree he had chosen. He climbed down quietly and noticed Helena, His girlfriend standing at the bottom of the tree looking out at the field. He hooked his legs on the lowest branch, about 7 feet off the ground, and he hung upside down. He was now directly behind her now. "Boo." he said
"AHH!!!" Helena screamed rapidly spinning around. "Gary!! Don't do that!!" She said, holding her now rapidly beating heart.
"You know I can't resist" He said smiling at her. "Hold this?" he asked handing her his book. Helena smiled and took his book and stepped back, already knowing what he was about to do. Gary placed his hands on the trunk of the tree, let go with his legs and swung down. He planted his feet just below his hands, momentarily in a vertical bridge then he swung forward, his hands touching the ground and he swung his legs over his head now in a bridge on the ground. He then stood up and took his book back. That trick had taken him ages to master, and lots of bruises. "Show off" Helena said, smiling again.
"What can I say" Gary joked, taking Helena's hand as they walked off into the field
