Life can be complicated, Especially High School life. There are so many things to deal with and so many rules to learn, plus the cliques. Don't we all hate them? But they always seem to stick around no matter what anyone does. There is one word to describe High School and it’s DRAMA. Every school has that dreadful thing. Even PHS.
Lets start it off.
Helena Price is the leader of the Plastics. She always knew that she would get the job. She is a senior and is going out with a Bang! Helena is looking for someone to take over her job since her 2nd In Command Plastic, Megan Williams, is also a senior. They need someone to take over, but they need to find the perfect girl. Megan is trying to get Helena to hire Junior VIPlastic Abagail Brady, but Helena isn’t sure.
Helena is also busy with the Jocks. Lots and lots of the Jocks. She is currently dating the Jock Leader, Gary Anderson. But she has been flirting with Scott Lewis, the 2nd In Command Jock. And Scott wants things to get serious. But Helena isn’t as sure. Matter of fact she isn’t sure about a lot of things this year. After a while Scott starts pressuring Helena to have sex with him. Being the virgin she is, Helena wants to keep her virginity until she knows it’s right. Gary’s grandmother suddenly falls ill. He goes to stay with his family in Wisconsin. While Gary is away Scott takes over. He starts to go out with Helena and has sex with her. She didn’t mean to, but Scott made her. Scott starts to become very abusive and violent towards her. She tries to hide her bruises as best as she can. She keeps silent about it. Even to her best friends, Megan and Ellen. When Helena eventually threatens to tell someone about Scott’s behavior he makes Helena's life worse. He takes her into the woods and ties her up. She tries to get away but it’s to late. He has her and no one can hear her screams. No one suspects anything of Helena's disappearance because she normally would go out on the weekends and stay out until the middle of the week. It is summer afterall.
Meanwhile Megan takes over for Helena. She is used to it. Since she wants to find someone to take over for next year she finds Monica Lewis. Yes she is Scott’s younger sister, but she is just an average 15 year old sophomore. She has a best friend who is also an average. Megan and Abagail try to get Monica to become a plastic since she is related to a Jock. But if Monica were to become a plastic that would mean leaving her best friend, Rebecca Nelson, out in the dark. I mean a plastic talking to an average? Yeah right. When Monica asks why Rebecca can’t become a plastic Megan and Abagail give her the best answer that they can think of. So little Monica is left with a choice: The best reputation or a best friend. That would be a hard choice to make. Wouldn’t it??
Well what will happen when Gary returns? Will Helena be found and if so by who? Will Megan and Abagail find someone to take their places? What will happen with Scott and Gary’s friendship? There are so many questions to be answered.
